American Airpower Museum

Plan your next event with AAM. Whether it’s an anniversary, wedding, birthday, or corporate outing the American Airpower Museum is one of the most unique locations to celebrate. Where else can you invite your friends, family, or colleagues to take a walk through history in an authentic WWII 1940s airplane hangar? Airplanes move around or can be stationed outside (weather permitting) to allow the most ideal set up for your very special event. Your guests not only can be “up close and personal” with these “warbirds” but we can even arrange special flight experiences for the guest(s) of honor.

North Shore Day Camp

North Shore Day Camp, located on 14 pristine Gold Coast acres overlooking the Long Island Sound in Glen Cove, New York, is the ideal location to host an exceptional event!

Formerly a private estate, North Shore is the perfect site for company picnics, corporate retreats, birthday parties, anniversary parties, bar or bat mitzvahs, Sweet Sixteens, religious and civic organization events, family reunions, school events, team building exercises and other special occasions. Here your guests can enjoy our full catering services while taking advantage of our wide array of indoor & outdoor facilities.

The Community Synagogue

The Community Synagogue in Sands Point, NY is a beautiful and convenient venue to host your guests after services for a quick Kiddush or a more elaborate luncheon or evening reception. The facility can be rented on an hourly basis with a two-hour minimum. A traditional Kiddush (i.e. bagels and appetizing) is approximately two hours in duration immediately following services. This celebration which is held in one room, either the Multi-purpose Room or the Congregational Hall, can be extended up to 4 hours.

For a more elaborate reception of 4-5 hours, our beautiful facility is a perfect venue for a full afternoon or evening celebration. We can provide a large open space to accommodate up to 300 guests or can create a smaller more intimate space if desired. The Lobby, Multi-Purpose Room, and Congregational Hall are all available for your use and provide unlimited opportunities to tailor your party according to your tastes. Whether a sit down catered affair or a kids’ dance and games party, the facility is flexible and can be easily transformed. Included in our facility rental are tables and chairs, a sound system, a large video screen for viewing photomontages, and a full-service kitchen. Valet parking can also be arranged at an additional cost. Evening parties must end by 1:00 a.m. per the Village of Sands Point code.
